The touchSlider feature makes it easy to control the power levels of your cooking zones. Simply touch or slide your finger to adjust the heat, with control available in half-level increments, up to a maximum of nine.

The hob is suitable for ducted or recirculated extraction in four installation options: unducted, partly and fully ducted recirculation, or ducted extraction. The included accessories, such as the cleanAir Plus odor filters and telescopic slider element, enable quick and easy installation for all worktop depths of 60cm or more. Additional accessory kits are available for specific installations:

- HZ9VDKR1 for partly-ducted recirculation in worktops of ≥60cm depth (max. 960mm height).
- HZ9VDKR0 for partly-ducted recirculation in worktops of ≥70cm depth (max. 960mm height).
- HZ9VDKE1 as a starter kit for ducted extraction in worktops of ≥60cm depth.

Fully ducted extraction or other custom recirculation setups can be achieved with available ducting accessories. The maximum immersion depth is 223mm below the worktop surface, and all accessories and kits can be purchased directly from Siemens.
